The fifth in my Manifestations of Sin series.
The others... Gluttony--->[link] Greed--->[link] Lust--->[link] Envy--->[link] Pride--->[link] Sloth--->[link] Wrath is the frightened animal. In its eyes only the strong survive and any weakness shown can and will be turned agaisnt it. Wrath is constantly on edge, seeking to prove its worth by hiding any and all weaknesses and lashing out, often violently, at anyone or anything that might reveal and abuse those weaknesses. Wrath fears vulnerability because it believes it lives in a world of adversaries, making it defensive and highly sensitive to the actions and words of others. Its loneliness and fatigue tear it away from within but its outward appearance remains an impenetrable shell. Friends are only half-hearted allies, family is only a temporary supporter, love is a weakness. Wrath is constantly alone, though it may not always be by itself. And so it becomes an animal, a lone wolf out to prove to the world and itself something it doesn't know, all the while pushing itself further and further away until it looses grip on the world and falls away into the emptiness it surrounded itself with. Next will be either Pride or Sloth. Done in photoshop with pictures I took and pictures from stock. Sources used. Will be cited if necessary. |

Run if you can...
the multiple arms give it so much depth! is he moving so fast he appears to have multiple arms? or is his wrath so intense he touches oh many things at once? very, very nice!
the multiple heads is also a great touch. duel personality? the inner struggle? so much to take in this picture!!
i really like this, maybe my favorite so far . . . maybe . . . .

The measure of an artist's greatness is not how well he creates, but what he chooses to create. All the effort in the world can't help you if you're not inspired.
